Longyearbyen, Atmoph's first Views of Arctic Region has been added! This is known as the northernmost town in the world, where more than 1,000 people have settled. Surprisingly, it is also well known that there are more polar bears than people. Visitors can experience the unique Arctic midnight sun and polar night, which last about four months each in summer and winter. During the summer solstice, the sun is at an altitude of 11° to 35° all day long, whereas from November to January it is pitch black even during the daytime.
Surrounded by magnificent nature, the streets of the city are lined with museums and stores that offer a warm welcome to travelers. What kinds of Views can you expect to see from the world's most northern and snow-covered town? We hope you will enjoy it.
