Tiong Bahru, located a little to the west of Chinatown, is a residential area with a historic feel, with old houses and public housing buildings lining the streets. In recent years, stylish bakeries, shops and galleries have opened one after another, and the area has become a popular destination for tourists.
On this view, we're looking at the area from the Tiong Bahru district towards the east, Chinatown and Marina Bay. As a result of its long-standing policy of the Garden City vision, Singapore has one of the highest proportions of green space of any city in the world. Enjoy the unique scenery of the Garden City, where the contrast between the lush greenery and the skyscrapers is particularly striking.
