In Asahimachi, Toyama, the cherry blossoms along Funagawa River are in full bloom. Planted in 1957 during river improvements, 280 Somei Yoshino cherry trees line both sides of the river for 1.2 kilometers. Enjoy the beautiful harmony of the delicate pink of cherry blossoms along the river, the bright yellow of rapeseed flowers, and the stark white of the Northern Alps snow.
