Surrounded by Alpine mountains, the beautiful Sarca Valley is located to the north of Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy. Blessed with a mild Mediterranean climate in spite of its high latitude, the valley is a region of vineyards and apple orchards.The valley, colored by several lakes and quaint villages, is dotted with old castles and family-owned wineries. This view was taken from a high point around the town of Dro, located in the middle of the valley. Feel the gentle spring air as you look out over a wide expanse of fields and mountains colored with the green of budding buds.
