Temple at Sarnath
The Mulagandha Kuti Vihar stands in Sarnath, one of Buddhism’s four major sacred sites. Built in 1931, it is a relatively modern Buddhist temple known for its distinctive architectural style and interior murals depicting the life of the Buddha. It welcomes not only pilgrims visiting this holy place, but also many travelers drawn to its beauty.
In the soft morning light, the hazy sky takes on a gentle golden glow, silhouetting the temple and the surrounding trees in the park. It’s a serene and slightly mystical scene—one that perfectly reflects the timeless spirit of this sacred Buddhist site. Enjoy this peaceful moment at dawn.
