Twilight at Puente Nuevo
The Puente Nuevo, or “New Bridge,” spans the dramatic El Tajo Gorge in Ronda, Andalusia, Spain, rising 98 meters above the gorge. As its name suggests, it is the newest of the three bridges linking Ronda’s old and new towns, having been completed in 1793. Its elegant stone arch is impressive from every angle, making it one of the town’s most beloved landmarks.
This iconic bridge can be admired from many spots, including viewpoints in the old town, the Jardines de Cuenca park on the new-town side, and even from its base at the bottom of the gorge. Tonight, enjoy the bridge from the new-town side, where it emerges from the darkness, bathed in warm light and creating a truly enchanting scene.
